3. Don’t call same client a jerk for never texting you back.

4. Don’t believe client when he says he really, really wanted to call.

10. If all else fails, see rule number one again.

My Review:

3.5 Stars!

Jennifer Blackwood has given us a sweet, rom-com with tons of heart! A swoon-worthy hero and a sassy heroine/jilted lover make for a fantastically fun weekend read!

I think what I enjoyed the most was the banter between Ryder, Zoey and Zoey’s brain. Zoey is a bit immature, but I’m okay with that. Ryder is practically perfect. He’s funny, polite, pushes Zoey when she needs to be pushed, but is loyal and oh so sexy.

What I didn’t enjoy, was the whole thou shalt not sleep with a client concept. I get that Ryder is technically her client, but come on, there are ways around that. Unfortunately, though, without that little caveat to their relationship, there would have been no book and that just didn’t sit well with me. Then, Zoey goes and considers quitting just to be with Ryder?? Um, no, girl. Don’t do it!

A fun, flirty, weekend read with heart!
