Samantha Marie Ramsden has three brothers. Craig, John and Matt. When tragedy strikes their family, Craig takes on the task of becoming his siblings legal guardian. It’s hard enough being someone’s guardian, but when you’ve only recently entered adulthood yourself it’s almost impossible to know where to draw the line between sibling and ‘parent’.
This is made even harder on him when Sam starts to get close to a long time friend, Jason. It looks like their friendship could turn into something more. An idea that Craig has never been too happy with. Spanning six years, My Heart is Yours explores family, friendship, love and much more. As well as asking the question: Would you defy family for love?
My Review:
A copy of this book was given to me by the publisher/author in exchange for an honest review.
My Heart is Yours is an emotional tale of pain and loss and how love and family can help you survive. A beautiful friends to lovers tale.
Sam has suffered a lot in her young life, but has managed to make it through with the help of her brothers and their group of friends. Sam falls for Jason, a long time friend, and he falls for her. Sam’s older brother does not approve. Sam and Jason must fight through their pasts and the disapproval of family and friends to get their happily ever after.
What an emotional book this was. I was not prepared for some of the things I read, but it all worked to make the book that much more. I literally bawled my eyes out at one point. I appreciated the strong family theme. Yes, Sam’s brothers were overprotective, but not to the point of being overbearing. Jason, through his love and friendship, ultimately helps Sam to grow and overcome.
I’m sorry I missed this yesterday!! Thank you so much for your beautiful review. I almost cried reading that you bawled your eyes out at one point (ironic, huh?) Thank you again!! ❤

Oh, thank you!! That means so much to me. Word of mouth is an author’s best “marketing” and it means so much that you’re telling your friends about my book. ❤
